Description

After successfully installing the Intel® Unison™ PC App and pairing it with my mobile phone, I occasionally experience delays when sending files or SMS through the Intel® Unison™ PC App after my PC returns from S3/S4 standby mode.

Resolution

The Intel® Unison™ PC App relies on an active Internet connection to send files and SMS to connected phone. When your PC enters S3/S4 standby mode, the Internet connection is briefly lost. Upon resuming from standby mode, it can take a few seconds for the network connection to fully re-establish, which may cause temporary delays in sending files or SMS. In rare cases, it might take slightly longer, depending on network conditions.

To expedite the connection resume process and address any delays, try the following:

  1. Bring the Intel® Unison™ PC App to the Foreground:
    • Ensure the app is actively running and visible on your PC screen.
  2. Unlock your Mobile Phone and Open the Intel® Unison™ App:
    • Make sure the Unison App is also open and in the foreground on your mobile device.

Following these steps should help improve the responsiveness of file and SMS sending after your PC wakes from the S3/S4 standby mode.
