When troubleshooting Intel GPU devices, it is sometimes necessary to access the .dat DispDiag file for information about your system. You may be asked to provide this file when working with a customer service agent or IT professional.
To access and save the file:
- While the system is turned off, disconnect all GPUs and use the integrated graphics card - make sure that the correct graphics driver is installed before executing the command
- Press the Windows button + R in order to open the Run window
- Copy dispdiag -out %userprofile%\Desktop\dispdiag-inteligfx.dat and paste it in the Run window (make sure no other characters, such as empty space or other letters are before or after the command) - wait for the file to be exported
- Turn off the system, then connect the Intel® Arc™ GPU - make sure that the correct graphics driver is installed before executing the command
- Press the Windows button + R in order to open the Run window
- Copy dispdiag -out %userprofile%\Desktop\dispdiag-intelarc.dat and paste it in the Run window (make sure no other characters, such as empty space or other letters are before or after the command) - wait for the file to be exported
If you have an additional Nvidia GPU, additionally do the following:
- Turn off the system, connect the Nvidia GPU - make sure that the correct graphics driver is installed before executing the command
- Copy dispdiag -out %userprofile%\Desktop\dispdiag-nvidia.dat and paste it in the Run window (make sure no other characters, such as empty space or other letters are before or after the command)
