After the Driver Is Updated, Intel® Arc™ Control Custom Parameters Are Missing

Description

If I have configured custom setting in the performance tab, Intel® Arc Control Fan curve settings disappear after driver upgrade.

Resolution

When a driver gets upgraded, some settings might change and the stored user settings might cause issues. The Arc Control app and service need to re-initialize the values. Because of this, a reboot is required after the driver update and before any settings customization in Arc Control.

At the end of the new driver installation process you can

  • Click the Required Reboot button in the last driver installer screen.

or

  • Click Finish button if you have to save work in currently open apps and then manually reboot your system.
