Supported Operating Systems By the Intel® NPU Driver

For AI workloads looking to leverage the computing power of the Neural Processing Unit (NPU) found on Intel® Core® Ultra processors, a driver is required.
Note that the NPU name in Intel® Core Ultra Processors is called Intel® AI Boost.
This NPU driver supports the following operating systems:
| Note | Even if the NPU driver for Windows 11* was installed successfully on the Windows® 10 system, no AI workload (using NPU) can be run on the Windows® 10 system. Disable the NPU device in the BIOS for Windows 10. Refer to your BIOS vendor for instructions on how to disable the NPU device. |
