Content Type: Install & Setup   |   Article ID: 000098340   |   Last Reviewed: 07/16/2026

Description

Trying to add a custom resolution of 3440x1440@100Hz which is supported by both the monitor and the cable.

Resolution

The latest IGCC uses the display setting of Windows and there is no option to add a custom resolution. The workaround is to install IGCC Beta from the Microsoft Store.

To add a custom resolution in IGCC Beta:

1. Open IGCC Beta and go to the display option

2. Click the plus sign next to the Resolution dropdown box and add your needed resolution.

Alternatively, the Custom Scaling optoin can be used modify the size of the display rather than customizing the resolution. Customizing the refresh rate though is not available on Custom Scaling.

Another option is to use third party utilities. Since those are non-Intel tools, we are unable to provide support on how to use them and guarantee its effectivity.
