Description

I would like to know if there are command line options to launch the driver installer

Resolution

The file installation_readme_<driver_version> is included in the driver installer executable and contains information regarding the following:

  • Versions, supported operating systems and platforms
  • System Requirements
  • Localized Language Abbreviations
  • Installing the Software
  • Verifying Installation of the Software
  • Identifying the Software Version Number
  • Installation Switches (command line options)
  • Uninstalling the Software

To access this file, proceed as follows:

  1. Go to the Download Center and look for the desired driver.
  2. Download the Driver Installer
  3. Extract files from the Driver Installer using software like 7-Zip
  4. Explore the extracted folder
  5. Open the installation_readme_<driver_version> file. Be aware of the version number since some installer packages contain more than one installation_readme file.
