Audio Will Delay 1–2 Seconds When Resuming Playback on Intel® Arc™ Graphics

Content Type: Product Information & Documentation   |   Article ID: 000097996   |   Last Reviewed: 05/19/2025

Description

When playing audio, the GPU will sometimes take time to output the audio to the monitor.

This happens most when the GPU hasn't sent audio for some time (~5 minutes). When audio is then played, it won't send audio for around 2 seconds, and after those 2 seconds, it will send the audio to the monitor like normal.

Resolution

This is a known issue on Intel Arc Graphics. Check back later.
