What is Intel® Unison™?
Intel® Unison™ is an application that seamlessly connects your mobile devices (phone or tablet) to your PC for a universal, easy-to-use experience. When connected with your phone, the Intel® Unison™ app enables you to experience notifications, calls, SMS messaging, and phone’s gallery directly from your PC, then exchange files between your PC and phone. You can download the Intel® Unison™ app for Windows* PC, iOS* or Android* devices.

What is Intel® Unison™ Swift Connect?
Swift Connect enables the Intel® Unison™ PC app to exchange files with another device. The other device does not have to have the Intel Unison app installed as the file transfer is done using a Web browser.

Can I receive files on any device?
You can receive files on a device with an installed Web browser.

Can I send files without Intel® Unison™ app installed?
File transfer invitations must be sent from the Intel® Unison™ PC app, and you are able to receive file transfer invitations from any device with an installed Web browser.

Is there any file size limitation when sending files via Intel® Unison™ PC app Swift Connect?
You can use Intel® Unison™ PC app Swift Connect to send multiple files up to 100MB in total. (In the same one-time invitation link or scan the QR code after confirming the code.)

Why did I get a “The file format is not supported” message?
Intel® Unison™ app blocks certain types of files that may present a security risk.

Are the files stored anywhere?
The files are never stored on any servers. It is only stored in the cache of the device’s browser that you use to send or receive files.

Once I receive files, how much time do I have to download them from the Web browser?
We recommend the user to download the files directly after receiving them, as they are temporarily stored in the cache of the device’s browser and might be automatically removed after you receive the file.

Does Swift Connect send the original file?
Yes, Swift Connect sends the original file, without compressing it. If you want to send multiple files, we suggest sending with a single zip file.
