How To Change Display Identity Number In Windows?

Description

Unable to change the display identity number in Windows.

Resolution

The number of the monitors is specified during hardware detection at system load and cannot be changed.

But the location of the display can be changed with the below steps:

  1. Click Start.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Select System.
  4. Select Display.
  5. Click Identify to see which screen is which.
  6. Drag the display box within the space to the desired relative location between each other.
