Performance Tuning, Broadcast, Capture & Camera Feature Unavailable Using a Local Account

Description

Using the latest version of Intel® Arc Control, the following notification appears:

  • "Performance Tuning, Broadcast, Capture & Camera features are currently unavailable as Arc Control is running without administrator privileges. Please launch Arc Control with administrator privileges to enable these features."

Resolution

To access these features please launch Intel Arc Control with administrator privileges using the steps below. If you are using a business PC, contact your IT or network administrator.

  1. In the system tray, right-click the Intel Arc Control icon and select “Quit Arc Control”. 
  2. Right-click the Intel Arc control icon in the Taskbar and select “Close window” before relaunching app with “Run as administrator”.

Note

Closing the application using “X” in the window will still leave application running in the system tray and you will not be able to relaunch in administrator mode.
