Would UHD (4K) Blu-Ray be supported on Intel 11th generation or newer processors?
Resolution
Due to Intel® Software Guard Extensions (Intel® SGX) not being present on these processors UHD (4K) Blu-Ray is not supported on these platforms. UHD Blu-ray disks require Digital Rights Management (DRM), which needs the presence of SGX to work.
Blu-ray content (1080p) is still supported.
