Does the Intel® QuickAssist Technology (Intel® QAT) Driver for VMware* Support the Intel Atom® C3000 Platform?

• Looking for a QAT driver for Atom C3000 series on VMware ESXi.
• Checked drivers for hardware version 1.x/2.0, but not supported.

The correct Intel® QAT driver to use is the one for the Hardware Version 1.x, also known as Customer Enabling (CE) Release.

However, the Intel® QAT driver for VMware* does not support the Intel® Atom® C3000 hardware.

The alternative options available would be to use the Intel® QAT driver for Linux* which has support for this hardware, or the Intel® QAT driver for Windows* which also supports the Intel® Atom® C3000 hardware.

The Intel® QAT driver for Windows* supports the Intel® Atom® C3000 platform with restrictions:

• Supported host OS: Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC.
• Virtualization not supported.
