XeSS, or Xe Super Sampling, is an AI-based upscaling technology designed by Intel to deliver a better, smoother, and more consistent gameplay experience. Intel(R) Xe Super Sampling (XeSS) enables an innovative framerate boosting technology supported by Intel(R) Arc(TM) graphics cards and other GPU vendors. Using AI deep-learning to perform upscaling, XeSS offers higher framerates without degrading the image.

This list is subject to change. If a game is not listed, please visit its official website and/or contact its developer to get information about that particular title.

If your game supports XeSS, navigate to its display or graphics settings look for the upscaling options and select “XeSS” to enable it. Some games will give you a confirmation prompt with a “Yes/ No” option. Select “Yes” in the pop-up window.

You will also be able to choose a quality/performance setting of XeSS, such as Quality and Performance. Higher quality XeSS settings will have less impact on image quality at the expense of less performance gains. On the contrary, more aggressive XeSS settings such as XeSS Performance will lead to a bigger loss in image quality with the benefit of higher performance gains).
