Intel® NUC M15 Laptop Products Do Not Charge

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Summary

How to ensure the power connections are set up correctly.

Description

When trying to charge the Intel® NUC Laptop, the USB C power connection cuts in and out.

Resolution
  1. Ensure that the charging cable is securely plugged into the AC power outlet in the wall and the Type C port on the device. Check that the connections are tight and not loose or wiggling.
  2. Try a different power adapter.  Sometimes, a faulty charger can cause charging issues. Replace the current power adapter with a known-working one to see if the problem persists. Make sure the new adapter is firmly connected.
  3. Try plugging the cord into a different AC outlet in the wall. It is possible that the AC socket could have power fluctuations and changing the AC outlet will help us isolate what is causing the charging problems.
  4. If necessary, try draining the battery all the way to 0%.
  5. If none of the above are successful, contact Intel Customer support.
