Description
Device Manager displays yellow warning icons for 'Coprocessor' devices with Error Code 28: 'The drivers for this device are not installed' or 'There are no compatible drivers for this device.' These coprocessor entries represent Intel QuickAssist Technology (QAT) acceleration hardware (as shown below).
Resolution
Install Intel® QuickAssist Technology Driver for Windows*
Note: Intel® QuickAssist Technology provides hardware acceleration for cryptographic and compression workloads. Driver installation enables these performance features.
