When Gaming the Intel® Arc™ A750 Graphics Will Crash When the PCIe Speeds Are Set to Gen 4.0

Description

When gaming, after some time, the GPU signal will cut out and not come back if the PCIe speed is set to work at 4.0 Gen. The card is supposed to work at PCIe 4.0 Gen speeds, but it is very unstable.

Resolution

Follow the steps below:

  1. Verify that power supply cables are properly plugged into the dGPU.
  2. Verify that GPU is properly seated on the main PCI-E.
  3. Verify latest driver available is install.
  4. Perform clean driver installation with latest driver available and DDU software.
