Missing Resolutions from Windows* Settings with Intel® Arc™ Graphics

Description

When trying to choose a specific resolution from Windows* Display Settings, not all resolution modes are listed. Ex: 4k and 1080p resolution are listed but 2k resolution is missing.

Resolution

Do a clean driver installation of driver 31.0.101.4885 or newer using Display Driver Uninstaller:
1. Uninstall the current driver using Display Driver Uninstaller. Check for How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall an Intel® Graphics Driver instructions.
2. Go to the Download Center and download driver 31.0.101.4885 or newer.
3. While the system is in safe mode, install the driver on the system. Check How to Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 & Windows 11 for installation instructions.
4. Restart the system.
The issue can be caused due to the display/monitor not supporting the resolution. Contact the display/monitor manufacturer to know if a certain resolution is supported or consult the device's manual.
Third-party applications like Custom Resolution Utility can be used to create a custom resolution. Go to the Customer Resolution Utility website for download and instructions.

Note

Avoid creating and setting a custom resolution higher than the display/monitor specifications.
