After Installing an Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA) Update, the Wireless Connection Has Been Disconnected

Description

Users are experiencing their wireless connection being disconnected after downloading and installing the updates from Intel® Driver & Support Assistant.

Resolution

  1. Uninstall all the Intel® wireless drivers that have been made by the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant.
  2. Go to the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) website and download the Intel® wireless driver for the laptop.
  3. Install the downloaded driver and test if the connection comes back.

In case all the steps above have been completed, and still have the same issue. Contact the original equipment manufacturer's customer support for technical guidance.
