Content Type: Product Information & Documentation   |   Article ID: 000094707   |   Last Reviewed: 09/12/2023

Environment

Operating System

Windows 11* Family, Windows® 10 family

Description

Unable to undervolt a locked (non-K) processor.

Resolution

Intel® does not provide undervolting controls/software/tools for locked non-K processors.

Altering clock frequency or voltage may void any product warranties and reduce stability, security, performance, and life of the processor and other components. OEMs set the undervolt option to be available on their BIOS. If options in BIOS are not available, contact your OEM or motherboard vendor.
