Troubleshooting Steps to fix the issue with the HDR Mode enabled.
Description
Whenever the HDR option is turned on:
- The Intel® Arc™ Control Studio capture feature doesn't work or creates a 0 bytes capture file.
or
- The toggle button will automatically return to its original position and the following message will appear in the lower right corner: Could not start capture. HDR mode enabled for the selected monitor.
Resolution
- HDR Capture has been enabled as of version 1.74.5379.0. Ensure your driver is up to date.
- If you are already running the latest version of Intel Arc Control, try the following:
- Use the Display Driver Uninstaller,
- For more information about this tool, you may visit How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall an Intel® Graphics Driver.
- After running the DDU, install the latest graphic drivers of the system. You may visit the Download Center to obtain the latest drivers.
