Content Type: Troubleshooting   |   Article ID: 000094572   |   Last Reviewed: 12/01/2023

Environment

Intel EMA 1.9.1.0 Windows Server 2019

Description

The working Certificate will expire soon.

Resolution

  • Request the new Certificate from any of the Intel® Active Management Technology authorized vendors.
  • Create the new Certificate with the .PFX file received from the vendor, and assign a completely different name for it. It needs to be fully different from the one of the current Certificate.
  • Install the new Certificate in the settings tab of the Intel EMA console.
  • Open the profile of the Endpoint Group, and select the new Certificate.

Note

The certificate chain needs to match the Organization ID (OID): 2.16.840.1.113741.1.2.3
The Public Key Infrastructure Domain Name System (PKI DNS) suffix of the new certificate needs to match the same PKI DNS suffix of the current Certificate.
