Intel® Processor Identification Utility reports incorrectly that some processors appear to be Engineering Samples. See list below of processor collections impacted:
- Intel® Processor for Desktop
- Intel® Processor N-series
- Intel® Processor U-series
- Intel® Core™ processors (Series 1)
- Intel® Xeon® E Processor, formerly code named Raptor Lake

Intel® Processor Identification Utility reporting incorrect message of engineering sample is a known issue that will be fixed in the next release.
Due to this issue, below processors are temporarily unsupported by Intel® Processor Identification Utility. Click on below links to see the full list of impacted processors.
- Intel® Processor for Desktop (300)
- Intel® Processor N-series
- Intel® Processor U-series (U300, U303L, and others.)
