How to Disable Standby Power on the Thunderbolt Port for the Intel® NUC 11 Pro Kit NUC11TN

The Thunderbolt Port keeps delivering power to devices even if the NUC is off and is plugged into an outlet.

During Deep S4/S5 Sleep State the system continues to provide power through Thunderbolt port. To prevent the system from entering S4/S5 and to shut down fully, disable the Deep S4/S5 state option in the BIOS.

1. Continuously press F2 during POST to enter the BIOS
2. Go to the Power tab in BIOS
3. Select Secondary Power Settings
4. Disable Deep S4/S5 state
