Description

Unable to find how to configure the NIC in the system BIOS of an Intel® Server System M50CYP

Resolution
  1. Press the <F2> function key to enter the BIOS setup utility using a keyboard (or emulated keyboard), during boot time, when the OEM or Intel logo screen, or the POST diagnostic screen is displayed

  2. Go to: Advanced > PCIe configuration.

  3. Once in PCIe configuration, the following options will be displayed:

  4. UEFI Option ROM control to configure the NIC Controllers, select the desired NIC card to make changes to functions like FEC, Wake on LAN, and others.

  5. UEFI Network Stack to enable or disable access to network while executing in the UEFI boot services environment.
