Unable to find how to configure the NIC in the system BIOS Setup of an Intel® Server System M50CYP

Resolution

  1. Press the <F2> function key to enter the BIOS setup utility using a keyboard (or emulated keyboard), during boot time, when the OEM or Intel logo screen, or the POST diagnostic screen is displayed
  2. Navigate to: Advanced > PCIe configuration.
  3. Select UEFI Option ROM control to configure NIC Controllers. Choose the desired NIC card to modify functions like FEC, Wake on LAN, and others.
  4. Enable or disable UEFI Network Stack to control network access during UEFI boot services.
