Information about an upcoming fix for stuck fan speed
Description
For Intel® Arc™ Graphics Cards with OPROM version 20.1053.1, fan speed may get stuck at around 1200 RPM and GPU temperature will raise rapidly. This can be determined by opening the telemetry overlay in Intel® Arc™ Control software (Alt+0) when using highly GPU demanding applications.
Resolution
Driver 31.0.101.4644 has a firmware update for the Intel Arc Graphics Cards which includes fix for this issue.
