Asus Armory Crate* App Causing Crashes on Intel® Arc™ A-Series Graphics

CPU: i9-12900K

Description

  • Cannot access the Overlay or Intel® Arc™ Control after removing all the old drivers from the previous hardware.
  • Regularly getting crashing issue whilst playing games.
  • Screen goes completely black, flickers and then completely black again.
  • After downloading the latest Intel Arc A770 driver, my screen did not stop freezing.
  • Arc Control does not open, and the telemetry window cannot display any data.

Resolution

  1. Verify all Drivers are up-to-date. The Intel® Driver & Support Assistant can help to update Intel drivers.
  2. Perform a Clean Installation of Intel® Graphics Drivers in Windows.
  3. Uninstall and Reinstall the Intel® Arc™ Control.
  4. Perform a Windows Repair.
