Error Message: “User account from identity provider does not exist in tenant ‘Intel Corporation’… account needs to be added…"

Content Type: Product Information & Documentation   |   Article ID: 000094088   |   Last Reviewed: 03/20/2025

Description

Encountered error message:

  • User account from identity provider does not exist in tenant "Intel Corporation" and cannot access the application in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure active directory account.
  • More information required. Your organization needs more information to keep your account secure.

Resolution

Possible causes:

  • Have you recently had your email changed or any other change in your company profile?
  • Did you set up your authentication prior to 2023?
  • You may experience this error if you try to access a program that you haven't enrolled in.

If any of the above actions took place, Intel will need to reset your redemption status. That means that you'll be sent an invitation link and through that, you'll set up your MFA again. This will refresh our tenant and eliminate that error.

Contact Intel Customer Support for assistance and provide the screenshot of the error and email address.
