Description
- Incorrect installation of cpu heat sinks may lead to system failure.
- Solid amber LED status may observed after installation.
Resolution
Intel® Server D50TNP Family supports 1U height heat sinks and 2U height heat sinks, and these are not interchangeable.
Identify the correct heat sink type for CPU 0 and CPU 1.
Ensure the front heat sink is used for CPU 0 and the back heat sink for CPU 1.
Verify the installation to prevent contact issues or damage.
