Driver Update Issue with Intel® Connectivity Performance Suite

Environment

Windows® 10 64-bit or Windows® 11*, Intel® Wi-Fi 6/6E products, Intel® Wi-Fi 7 products

Description

When trying to update the driver for the Intel® Connectivity Performance Suite with Intel® Wireless Products using the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA), the application keeps on loading or pending for a long period of time with no progress. On some systems, the error message: Installation failed with error code 1607 is displayed.

Resolution

  1. Uninstall the Intel® DSA using Intel® Driver & Support Assistant Uninstaller.
  1. Check the Intel® Connectivity Performance Suite System Compatibility
  2. Install the latest version of Intel® Connectivity Performance Suite manually.

Before installing via Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA):

  1. Refer to What Operating Systems and Languages Does Intel® DSA Support?
  2. Install the latest version of Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA)
  3. Restart the computer.

Additional information

After install latest version of Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA) and having the same issue, please remove Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA) and contact the support team of the Original Equipment Manufacturer.
