Graphics Virtualization Technologies Support for Each Intel® Graphics Family

Intel has continued to push forward the graphics virtualization technologies on Intel® graphics processors. The latest of these technologies been Single Root IO Virtualization (SR-IOV) which replaced the previous Intel® Graphics Virtualization Technology –g (GVT-g). Current SR-IOV support is available for systems running Linux as the host operating system with Windows or Linux guest virtual machines.

To find which graphics virtualization technology is supported on each Intel® graphics family, refer to the table below:

  • Windows systems: Graphics in-field firmware updates for SR-IOV require Arc Pro driver version 32.0.101.8306 or later
  • Linux systems: Refer FWUPD for graphics firmware updates
