The Intel Graphics Command Center supports changing the color depth for native HDMI outputs.

The Intel® Arc™ Limited Edition Graphics Cards use a Protocol Converter (PCON) chip to support HDMI 2.1 displays over the DisplayPort 2.0 interface.

This HDMI 2.1 over DisplayPort solution is not a native HDMI port. Therefore, changing the color depth is not supported through the Intel Graphics Command Center when using an Intel® Arc™ Limited Edition Graphics Card.

For Intel® Arc™ graphics cards from other manufacturers and systems using mobile Intel® Arc™ Graphics products, refer to the manufacturer's documentation to verify whether their HDMI ports are native.

Workaround:

If you are using an Intel® CPU with Integrated Graphics and your motherboard has a native HDMI port, connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the motherboard instead of the Intel® Arc™ Limited Edition Graphics Card.

The display output will be handled by the Integrated Graphics in this configuration and the Intel® Arc™ Limited Edition Graphics Card will still render games or other GPU-intensive tasks. This allows the Color Depth, Quantization Range, and Color Format settings to be changed in the Intel® Graphics Command Center. In this configuration, the display resolution and refresh rate will only show those settings supported by the specific Integrated Graphics Processor included in your Intel® CPU instead of those supported by the Intel® Arc™ Limited Edition Graphics Card.
