Description

Unable to save or create a BIOS settings configuration.

Resolution

The Server Configuration utility (syscfg) can be used for saving and restoring firmware and BIOS settings to a binary file, and for configuring firmware and BIOS settings via a command line interface.

  1. Download the latest version
  2. Copy the Syscfg_Vx.x.x_AllOS.zip file to the local directory (for example, C:\syscfg).
  3. Unzip the file.
  4. Install the driver: under the Win_x64\Drivers folder, run install.cmd to install the SMI driver.
  5. Open the CMD terminal as an administrator.
  6. Go to Win_x64 and run syscfg.exe /s <filename>.ini
