Crashes occurring on startup or randomly when playing the game on 12th generation processors or Intel® Arc™ graphics cards.
On both integrated graphics on 12th generation Intel processors or Intel® Arc™ A-Series Graphics cards, the game crashes frequently and the menu is not appearing.
The game runs fine on 11th generation or older processors and the game's developer already identified this as a compatibility issue with Intel 12th generation processors.
Intel is investigating this issue.
The game runs on DirectX* 9 API which is not natively supported on newer Graphics engines. Intel® uses a D3D9on12 mapping layer that maps graphics commands from DX9 to DX12. We do extensive compatibility and performance testing, and partner closely with Microsoft* and ISV’s (Independent Software Vendors) to optimize this solution continuously.
