Windows® 10, 64-bit*
Windows 10 Pro

Description

  • Trying to configure the Ethernet controller to enable the Wake On Lan feature.
  • Everything looks correct in BIOS and the controller the configuration looks correct.
  • Still unable to wake up the computer by sending the corresponding magic packet.

Resolution

  • Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Option > System Settings
  • Set the Windows fast startup setting to Disable.
