Environment

LWF2312IR504601 Intel® Server Board S2600WFT Intel® Storage Module RMSP3JD160J

Description

  • Server is crashing intermittently
  • Then the server will show PSOD (The Purple Screen of Death)

Resolution

  1. Reseat the RAID Controller.
  2. Update the BIOS/Firmware of the board and RAID Controller to latest version. Follow the steps on how to update the Firmware in the Demo: How to Perform a Firmware Update of Intel® RAID Controllers on EFI Shell page.
  3. Check if system can boot normally after following above two steps.
  4. Get lspci command output.
