Description

Everything had been working good and there were no hardware or software changes when Intel® Ethernet Controller I211-AT suddenly no longer works with error: Ethernet doesn't have a valid ip configuration fix windows® 10.

Resolution

  • Reboot both the system and router/switch
  • Update the driver to latest version
  • Run ipconfig release/renew/dns flush via the command line
  • Reset netsh via the command line (e.g. netsh winsock reset)
  • Try disabling then re-enabling the Intel® Ethernet Controller I211-AT

If issue still occurs, contact Original Equipment Manufacturer(OEM) since they have customized drivers and software to enable or alter features on the OEM system. They are in best position to seek assistance so the features or customizations of the Ethernet controller won't be lost.
