Where can I find Intel Graphics drivers supporting Linux distributions for Intel® Arc™ Graphics?
Ubuntu has in-box support for Intel Graphics solutions, such as Intel Arc Graphics and others. You don't have to install anything from any of our custom repositories. Please check the GPUs with supported drivers list to know which is the minimum Kernel version supporting specific hardware.
Additional documentation and instructions for installing, deploying, and updating specific custom Intel software for general-purpose GPU (GPGPU) capabilities for Ubuntu* can also be found at dgpu-docs.intel.com. Please note that this custom packages on dgpu-docs.intel are mainly for users who want to try early versions of the latest packages before they are available through the Ubuntu distribution. They can also help in cases where someone needs newer or early hardware support that is not yet available in the inbox/distro stack.
When packages are not published in the repositories from the instructions, you may get errors during the installation.
If you want to try early version of latest packages you can also use testing PPA repository instead - https://launchpad.net/~kobuk-team/+archive/ubuntu/intel-graphics-testing
Additional packages, like Intel Media Driver for VAAPI may be needed to enable more features.
