Use this IPMI command to retrieve the Serial Number or Model number Intel® Server Board S2600WF and M50CYP Product Families.

Resolution

  1. Ensure the server is powered on and connected to the network.
  2. IPMItool is available
  3. Enter the following command, replacing <ip address>, <username>, and <password> with your server's details:
    #ipmitool -I lanplus -H <ip address> -U <username> -P <password> -C 17 fru print
