Purchased the Intel® Server System R2224WFTZSR along with the SATA Slim-Line Optical DVD Drive AXXSATADVDROM. According to the Intel® Tested Hardware and Operating System List (Intel® THOL), the drive is listed as compatible. However, during assembly, the drive appears incompatible with the server system.
Optical drives, including the SATA Slim-Line Optical DVD Drive AXXSATADVDROM, are not supported in R2312WF & R2224WF based systems.
