Error Message: "The username or password you entered was invalid"

Description

Received error message when trying to sign in with Intel Corporation.

Resolution

When trying to log in with an email address that has not gone through the email verification process, that error message will display on the screen.

  • If a user has not completed registration, a unique identity is not created.
  • Upon successful completion, the user will receive an email that provides instructions to verify the email address, which is an essential step for completing the registration.

To complete the registration process, follow the steps in No Email Received When Resetting Password or Username in My Intel Account ,as they are the same for creating a new account.
