No Audio Output in Ubuntu* via 3.5mm Audio Jack on Intel® LAPBC710

Description

  • The audio output from the 3.5mm audio jack is working on LAPBC710 after installing Windows® 10, but it is not working after installing Ubuntu*.
  • The audio output from the HDMI port works fine on both Windows 10 and Ubuntu.
  • The audio device shows as Dummy output in the Ubuntu device manager.

Resolution

All Intel® NUC Laptop Kits support Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit.

Ubuntu is not validated with Intel® laptops.
