Intel® Server Board S2600STBR Cannot Connect to the Network

Onboard Ethernet ports has no connection, only temporarily connects after a reboot

Try the following to see if it resolves the issue:

• Verify whether the issue affects one or both onboard Ethernet ports.
• Check the link and activity LEDs on the affected Ethernet ports when the issue occurs.
• Replace the Ethernet cable with a known-good cable.
• Connect the server to a different switch port to eliminate potential switch-side issues
• Update the firmware of the server board to the latest version
• After the firmware update, perform a complete AC power cycle:
  Shut down the server.
  Disconnect AC power.
  Wait at least 3 minutes.
  Reconnect power and boot the system
