Intel® NUC Won't Start Unless it's Power Cycled

Description

After turn off the Intel® NUC, there is no response to press the power button.
Must unplug/replug the power to start.

Resolution

Disable Fast Startup so that Windows® shuts down normally.

To disable Fast Startup in Windows® :

  1. Type Control Panel in the Search bar.
  2. Change View by to Large icons.
  3. Click Power Options.
  4. Select Choose what the power buttons do.
  5. Select Change settings that are currently unavailable.
  6. Uncheck Turn on fast startup in the Shutdown settings section.
  7. Click Save changes.
