The latest version of OpenVINO™ Toolkit that can be built using Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 on Windows 10 is 2021.2.

  1. Build Open Source OpenVINO™ Toolkit:
    git clone https://github.com/openvinotoolkit/openvino.git
    cd openvino
    git checkout tags/<tag>
    git submodule update --init --recursive
    mkdir build && cd build
    cmake -G "Visual Studio 15 2017" -A x64 -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release ..
    cmake --build . --config Release --verbose -j8
  2. Add the paths of Threading Building Blocks (TBB) and OpenCV* binaries to environment variables:
    openvino_repo\inference-engine\temp\tbb\bin
    openvino_repo\inference-engine\temp\opencv_version\opencv\bin
