Resolution
Follow the steps below to replace the Hot Swap Backplane on Intel® Server Chassis H2224XXLR3
- Remove all hot-swap drive carriers, regardless of whether a drive is installed in the carrier.
- Remove the power distribution module cover. For instructions, see Section 3.5.1.
- Disconnect all cables from the backplane board.
- Remove the drive cage screws (A, B and C) and pull out the drive cage (D) as shown in Figure 45. When pulling out the drive cage, be careful not to damage the front panel cables.
