Description

When GRE packets are received with a single VLAN or no VLAN at all: those packets are simply lost somewhere in the NIC.
The GRE packages used by PPTP cannot reach the server operating system through E810 adapters

Enhanced GRE or GRE set to 1 is not supported. ice Dynamic Device Personalization (DDP) package parser supports GRE version = 0
Engineering have several variants of GRE support coming in the near future, including DDP support for GRE.
