Description

Unable to stop continuous beep sound from Intel® Server Board

Resolution

This may be related to the memory configuration or modules in the system.  Try the following to resolve the issue

  1. Install the memory modules in the DIMM slots
    • Use supported tested memory for your board.
    • Check the speed and size of your memory
    • Check that the memory modules aren't defective
  2. Test the memory modules one at a time
    • Try the modules in another computer
    • Try different known-working modules in this system.
  3. Click here to know Tested Memory List for Intel® Server Products and only install tested memory in the server.
  4. Beep sound should stop.
