Intel® Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X710-T4 Does Not Get OK Status on Dell* iDRAC

Description

Reason for encountering the following issues on X710-T4 Network Adapters:

  • Not getting OK status in Dell OEM server system
  • Receiving Unknown status in Dell OEM server system
  • Can’t interact with BIOS or Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC)

Resolution

Dell* OEM adapters have firmware features that hook into iDRAC that are not part of the retail Intel® Ethernet adapters.
