How to Protect Yourself from Fake Job Offers

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Summary

Guidance to recognize a fake job offer

Description

Need to identify fake job offers.  The domain must only contain intel.com

Resolution

Offers from Intel come from Intel® representatives with an intel.com email address. This only happens after an interview and conversation with an Intel staffing representative. Intel does not require candidates to be personally responsible for any fees in connection with an application for employment. Do not send money to any unknown individuals who claim to be Intel hiring agents or recruiters.

The domain must only contain intel.com, anything other than that email is a scam. Disregard it and report the matter to the abuse office of the email account the sender used (such as abuse@yahoo.com, abuse@gmail.com, abuse@hotmail.com).

Contact your law enforcement agency if you sent money in response to these emails.
