Why Does Intel® Killer™ Control Center Prioritization Engine Set Game Installers to Priority 4 by Default?

Intel® Killer™ Control Center Prioritization Engine sets game installers as a Priority 4, "Normal," instead of Priority 1, "Game," by default.
This is expected behavior. For example, Steam, or other app-launchers run as a Priority 4 by default, but the games, launched/ installed from Steam will have the default Priority 1. Priority settings can be manually changed in the Killer Control Center - Prioritization Engine section.
Note | If you increase the Steam app Priority in the Killer Control Center, the performance of higher priority apps (such as games, voice applications, or streaming applications) can be affected by any Auto-Updates initiated in Steam, |
